Ernest William Banuelos
Ernest William Banuelos, 60, (Bill to his friends), passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, from complications of an inoperable brain tumor. He faced this final battle with the same courage that he faced things in life.
Bill was born on July 21, 1953 in Houston, Texas, the oldest son of Ernest and Daisy Banuelos. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He was married to the love of his life Linda for 42 years, and she shared in his love of hunting, fishing, and love for life.
Bill retired from Discount Tire Company after over 25 years of loyal service where he was a respected manager and mentor to many.
He is preceded in death by parents Ernest and Daisy, brother George, and sister Sandra.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, son James Anthony, sisters Jean, Lorie, Gloria, Jan, and Rebecca and his brother Charlie.
He will be missed by many, including his faithful bird dog Chance and his lap dog Cujo. Many Thanks to all of his friends who stood by his side and for all of the prayers and help given during his courageous battle.
Visitation will be Monday, June 16 from 4-8pm at Puente & Sons Funeral Home 14315 Judson Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78233
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 17 @ 10am at Puente & Sons, with burial immediately following at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery on Nacogdoches Road.
