Gardening was another of Ernesto's cherished hobbies; he found great delight in nurturing his plants, especially his beloved daylilies, which bloomed with the same vibrancy he brought into the lives of those around him.
In addition to his affinity for nature, Ernesto was an avid baseball fan, proudly supporting the Red Sox throughout his life. His enthusiasm for the sport was infectious, and he often shared memorable moments spent watching games with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Candice Villanueva; children Laney Victoria Villanueva and Ernesto Villanueva III; parents Ernesto Villanueva Sr and Mary Sue Villanueva; sister Victoria Deleon (Mike).
