Espiridion "Speedy" Martinez passed from this life on May 12,2023. He is preceded in death by father: Francisco Martinez, mother: Delfina Garza Martinez, and son: Espiridion David Martinez, Jr.

Espiridion (Speedy) Martinez is survived by his loving wife of sixty-six years, Elisa Chavanna Martinez, sons: Benny Martinez and Tony Martinez, daughters: Melinda Herald, Helen Martinez, and Elisa Anna Martinez; grandchildren: Amanda Herald, Amy Herald, David Martinez, Joshua Rodriguez Brenden Shanahan, Jessica Garcia, Felisha Garris, Bailey Shanahan, Clara Nicole Sustaita and Pete Sustaita; great grandchildren: Kaison Flores and Nicholas Vargas, Grace Morales, Glory Morales, Zoe Sustaita and Zane Sustaita.

Speedy enjoyed playing the accordion and telling many stories of his childhood to his son Benny. He was a true cowboy and loved his horses. Speedy will be greatly missed by numerous other family members and friends.
