Esteban "Steve" Diaz Jr.

In loving memory of Esteban G. Diaz, Jr., a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Esteban was born on June 1, 1968, and passed away unexpectedly at home on April 22, 2024. Esteban was a man of many passions and interests. He found joy in simple pleasures like going to the beach in Port Aransas, savoring and cooking Bar-B-Que dishes, trying his luck with lottery tickets, and cruising on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with his brother Juanito, and was a devoted spurs fan.

Esteban is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Minerva Diaz; his loving children Esteban (Britni) Diaz III, Valerie Diaz, and Emilie Diaz; mother Esperanza Diaz; siblings Juan (Anna) Diaz, Jose Luis Diaz, San Juanita (Ezequiel) Rodriguez, Consuelo, Maria de Rosario (Arturo) Reyes, Esperanza, Amanda Gonzalez; grandchildren Steven, Kaley, and Jacob; brother-in-law Mike Tijerina; sister-in-law Monica (Jesse) Zuniga; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father Esteban Diaz and granddaughter Madison.

During this difficult time of loss and grief, let us remember Esteban for his kind heart, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in eternal peace.

His life will be celebrated and remembered at the South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio, Texas.

A visitation will take place on April 29, 2024, starting at 4:00 PM and a prayer service will follow at 6:30 PM.
