Esther Eleanor Shelton

Esther Eleanor (Tharp) Shelton went to be with the Lord on Monday March 23, 2009. Born September 13, 1931 to Rev. Paul M. Tharp and Thelma C. (Dunn) Tharp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Samuel J. Herrmann, her ex-husband and the father of her children Donald E. Herrmann Sr., and her late husband Samuel Shelton.

She is survived by her three sisters, Lois Sellars, Rhoda Bowen, and Mary Zink all of Penn. She is also survived by her sons, Donald E. Herrmann Jr. and wife Jeannie of New Braunfels, Tx. And Paul F. Herrmann of York, Penn. Her daughters, Mary J. Harvey and husband Claude of Middleton, Idaho, Zenda L. Edward and husband Franklin of York, Penn., and Terresa M. Wheatley and husband Doug. Of San Marcos, Tx. Ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Also five step-children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Special thanks to Bret Graham and the Gruene Hall Gang for the love and joy that was shared with mom over the past year.

Come celebrate a blessing and be blessed today March 26, 2009 at Puente Sons Funeral Chapels. Family will receive friends between 4:00pm-7:00pm with a service at 7:00pm.
