Flora Canova Fletcher

Flora Canova Fletcher was born in San Leonardo, Italy. She passed away on April 30, 2023, at age 76 surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded by her father, mother, sisters Maria and Gina and her brothers Ferucio, Armando, Michele, and Amedeo. 

She is survived by her loving husband, John Fletcher, her sisters Romana Hurst and Carla Napolitano and her brother Ricardo Canova. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Although Flora will leave an empty place in everyone’s heart, it feels like she will always be with them.

Flora spent most of her career in the food service sector until she retired from the Dietary Service of N. E. Baptist Hospital in 2012. She found real pleasure in tending to her vegetable garden and her cats. Flora loved sporty cars.  

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing from 4-7pm on May 9, 2023, at the Puente and Sons Funeral Chapel at 14315 Judson Rd. The interment will take place at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:30am on May 10, 2023, Shelter #3.
