Floris Jean Barnhill

Floris “Flossie” Jean Barnhill, 90, of San Antonio went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 30th, 2022. Flossie was born October 20, 1931, in Waco, Texas to Elva and John C. Oakes. She married Donald Ray Barnhill on June 14, 1957. Flossie served at Madison Hills Baptist Church for more than 40 years and lived her faith daily.

She left behind her faithful husband, a sister, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren to carry on her legacy of love and service. Upon her passing, Flossie was reunited with her daughter, a sister and her parents.

Flossie’s music was made on the piano, on canvas and on the lives of those she touched.

Her memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2022 at Madison Hills Baptist Church. The burial will follow on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 at the Oakes Cemetery near Donie, Texas.
