Frank C. Montalvo III, age 47, of San Antonio Texas, passed away after a valiant battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, on Sunday September 17th at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on November 18, 1975 to Frank E. Montalvo, Jr. and Martha Clakley, Franks love and compassion for his family and others was unwavering. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and build up those around him.
Frank was more than a devoted husband, prankster, and IT wiz. He was an amazing and caring father, leaving behind 5 children, whom he adored more than anything in the world, and his wife who he was head over heels for.
When Frank wasn't at home spending time with his loved ones, he was working hard to provide a life full of possibilities for his loved ones. A passion for photography, metal detecting, and video games, Frank was truly a go-getter.
Frank is survived by his wife, Caitlyn, Parents Rene and Martha Clakley-Ramirez; Brother John Montalvo (Celeste); Sisters Christina Castellanos (Arturo); Erin Salinas (Eric); Jessica Ramirez, and Jill Young (Justin). Uncle and Aunt Armando and Mary Clakley-Hererra; Aunt Gloria Clakley-Galindo; Uncle Edward Montalvo (Terri); Aunt Rita Pruitt (Ken), and Aunt Rebecca Garza. His children, Mary Beth Montalvo, Destiny Montalvo, Marti Montalvo, Benjamin Montalvo, and Gracie Montalvo. Frank is also survived by numerous cousins and twelve nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his father Frank E. Montalvo, Jr. Grandparents Martina U. Clakley, John Melvin Clakley, Frank E. Montalvo Sr., and Rebecca Montalvo; Uncle Eugene John Clakley; Uncle Patrick E. Montalvo Sr.; and his best friend Martin Cuff.
Frank will be deeply missed, but his wishes were to all take time to celebrate his life, not mourn his loss.
A celebration of life will be held for Frank at Puente and Sons 3520 S. Flores, San Antonio <https://www.google.com/maps/search/3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204?entry=gmail&source=g>on September 21st between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Eulogies will be read starting at 2 p.m.
In Frank's spirit of giving, the family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bexar County Women & Children's shelter.
