A devoted family man, Gary is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Diana, and three sons, Mario Martinez, Gary Garcia, Jr. and his wife April, and Gabriel Garcia. He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to Xavier, Michael, Ricky, Isaiah, David, Aubree, and Leo. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with them, often sharing laughter and creating lasting memories.
Gary had a passion for sports and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, The San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys, which was often a source of excitement and camaraderie with family and friends. He was also known for his incredible barbecue skills, making each gathering a flavorful feast that brought loved ones together. The holidays were particularly special to Gary; he ensured that they were filled with love, warmth, and unforgettable moments for his family.
Gary's compassion extended beyond his family, as he was actively involved in his community, he also served in the United States Army for six years, and organized benefit plate sales to support friends and family in need. His caring nature and willingness to lend a hand highlighted his generous spirit and love for others.
He is also survived by his siblings, Rita, Yolanda, Tony and his wife Sylvia, who will remember him fondly. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, David and Francis Garcia, and his brothers Pete and Roy, who welcomed him with open arms as he returned to rest.
In every aspect of his life, Gary E. Garcia was a beacon of love and kindness. His legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
