Gavina Proll Villarreal

Gavina P. Villarreal, born July 19, 1927, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2010 at the age of 82. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who had the biggest heart for everyone, especially anyone in need. Her unconditional love, deep faith and daily prayers protected the family with the Holy Sprit at all times. Even though she had the financial means, her disregard for the materialistic world, deep spirituality, and love for the Lord were an everyday example that she truly had the body of Christ within her she was a true Angel sent from above. She was physically, one strong woman, who beat cancer three times in 13 years. She was the spiritual leader and foundation of the family who loved her dearly. Gavina is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Raul R. Villarreal, a 28-year US Army veteran, and her son Raul F. Villarreal. She is survived by daughter, Hazel Geoghagan, sons, Eddie Villarreal and Joe Villarreal, grandchildren, Jeff Geoghagan, Jess Geoghagan, Lila Villarreal, Michele Villarreal, Jaclyn Tarr, Brittney Vier, Amanda Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal, Candice Villarreal, Samantha Villarreal and Ethan Villarreal, and great-grandchildren Brodie Geoghagan and Jess Geoghagan
