# Obituary for Gay Ann Brown

In loving memory of Gay Ann Brown, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the hearts of many with her vibrant spirit and passion for life. Gay was born in Luling, Texas, on September 18, 1940, and her journey came to a peaceful end in Gonzales, Texas.

Gay Ann will always be remembered as the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Her love for dancing was infectious, lighting up the dance floor with her moves and creating countless memories with loved ones. Traveling was another one of her great passions, as she enjoyed exploring new places and having fun with friends.

She is now reunited with her dear husband, Tom T. Brown, in eternal peace. Gay Ann was also preceded in death by her parents, Jack Mace and Maxine Lebo Mace Playfair; her grandson Colby Glen Brown; and her brother James Marion Mace Jr. Their spirits live on in her memory.

Gay Ann leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished moments for her surviving family. Her sons Tom Dillard Brown (Nancy), Kenneth Dwayne Brown (Brenda), and Glen Tyre Brown (Sandra) will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her grandchildren Tom Brown Jr., Kristen Wilson (Chris), Brent Brown (Lindsey), Brittany Shay Brown, Kenneth Dale Brown, Dillon Tyre Brown (Naomi), along with her great-grandchildren Makenna Wilson, Christopher Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Alana Nolte, William Brown, Beckham Tyre Brown, and Maddox Colby Brown; and great-great-grandchild Howard Colby Whitehead will continue to honor her legacy.

Gay Ann Brown's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved immensely and that her spirit will continue to shine bright through those whose lives she has touched.

"Those we love don't go away,

They walk beside us every day,

Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Still loved, still missed, and very dear."
