George Kimbell Wilcox, Jr.

George Kimbell Wilcox, Jr. born 07/20/1946 passed away12/03/2015. He was the son of a 32 year navy veteran and therefore moved often. He lived in Ecuador as well as San Diego. He moved to mountain Home Arkansas upon his father’s retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Wilcox. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Phyllis Wilcox, his daughter Christy Kaurich, son George Wilcox daughter-in-law Julie Wilcox, 4 grandchildren Nicole, Madison, Logan and Harrison, and 3 step grandchildren Alexandre, Sebastien, and Marine.

George was an outstanding High School athlete unfortunately his athletic future was cut short in his senior year. He then went to Arkansas State Teachers College obtaining a degree in education and physical education. He then taught at Page middle school in San Antonio, Texas. He did this for 2 years and then shifted careers and spent the rest of his life in the Insurance and Financial Planning industry. He was a dedicated professional consistently learning with post graduate education and advanced certification.

George was a Loving and Caring son, husband, and father. He will be missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
