He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Barrera; his brother, Orlando Barrera; his sisters, Margarita B. Flores, Eufemia Martinez, Mary Rodriguez, Olivia Escalante, and Florinda Cortinas; his beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Angelica Cantu; also numerous other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed.
