Gilberto H. Ramirez

Gilberto H. Ramirez, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on April 11, 1961, Gilberto was a dynamic soul who radiated warmth and kindness wherever he went. His loving nature and spirited personality made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The loving memories of Gilberto will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 20 years Janeth Pachecano, sons, Gilbert Ramirez III and wife Jaime Ramirez, and Steven Ramirez; his daughters, Sally Ramirez and Daya Ramirez; his father, Gilberto Ramirez; his brothers, Paulino, Jesus, Rodolfo, and Juan Ramirez; and his sisters, Marta, Rosa, Maricela, Irma, Claudia, and Norma. He was also a proud grandfather to Fabein, Aaliyah, Deliyah, and Gabbyriella. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by many nieces and nephews, each of whom will hold him close in their hearts.

Gilberto's talents in the kitchen were matched only by his love for music. He found joy in simple pleasures, whether he was tending to his yard or enjoying his favorite snack, chicharrones. His passion for being outdoors allowed him to connect with nature, bringing peace and happiness into his life.

A heartfelt visitation will be held on December 9, 2024, at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio, Texas, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service starting at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Service will take place the next day, December 10, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park, 5611 E. Houston St. SA,TX 78220 at 11:30 AM.

Gilberto H. Ramirez leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family unity, which will continue to inspire those who knew him. As we remember and honor his life, he will be profoundly missed but forever held in our hearts.
