Gina Marie Betz

Gina Marie Betz was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on May 6, 2022.
She is preceded in death by her parents Claude Johnson and Julie Tiger. She is survived by her loving husband Bartholomew (Randy) Sykes, Jr.; son: Joseph Betz, daughter: Tiffany Betz, brothers: George, Daniel and Thomas Satterfield, sister: Lisa Potts, grandchildren: Jocilyn and Jade Hart, Adam Stewart and Jace Betz.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Gina. You would see this in her hobbies of horticulture, fishing, crabbing or camping. If she was not taking part in one of these pleasures, it would be due to her enjoying the animals and nature that also brought her joy.

Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. She always had a smile and hug to share with those whose path crossed hers.

She will be greatly missed by numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a tree be planted or donate to your local animal shelter in her honor.
