Henry Edgar Daigneault

March 31, 1938 — December 9, 2021

Henry Edgar Daigneault was born on March 31, 1938, in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and went to be with our Lord on December 9, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas, after suffering a stroke in September 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife, RuthAnn, of over 30 years; his brothers, Gene and Armond, and his sisters, Theresa (Dawn) and Beatrice. He is also survived by RuthAnn’s family, mother-in-law, Karen Lee Perkins; sister-in-law, Becky Spatz (Greg); brother-in-law, Mark Baumgartner (Kelly); and their adult children, Tony A. P. Picciolo, Matt Baumgartner (Melanie), and Sarah Baumgartner; friends, Bob & Linda Higgins. A special thank-you to Caring Hands of San Antonio, especially Martha, his personal caregiver.

He is predeceased by his father, Eugene, his brother, Robert, and his brothers-in-law, John, Ronald and Peter Stanley.

Henry moved to San Antonio 32 years ago and shortly thereafter met RuthAnn. He was a skilled tradesman in construction, remodeling and repair. After his active working years, he went to work for Home Depot, sharing his vast knowledge with younger generations in the industry, as well as the do-it-yourselfers. He had an infectious sense of humor & charm that you couldn’t help but love! He also had a passion for fishing, and especially loved the times he spent fishing with his sister, Theresa. He remained close to and deeply cherished his weekly phone conversations with his brother, Gene.
