Herlinda Alcacio, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, left this world on August 7, 2023. She was born on February 15, 1947, in the same city she called home throughout her life. Herlinda's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of crossing her path.
Herlinda was a woman of immeasurable strength and perseverance. Despite experiencing loss throughout her life with the passing of her sisters Helen A. Tello, Carmen A. Olivarez, Josephine A. Guerrero, brother Alfredo S. Alcacio, and son Alfredo E. Alcacio before her own departure from this earthly realm - she faced each challenge with unwavering grace.
Family held great importance to Herlinda; they were the pillars upon which she built her beautiful life. Lydia Alcacio, Consuelo A. Martínez, Rosario Alcacio were not only sisters to Herlinda but also dear confidants and steadfast supporters who walked alongside her. Her daughter, Sandra Alcacio Adams, brought immense joy to Herlinda's world and was a constant source of inspiration and pride.
Beyond her immediate family, Herlinda leaves behind friends and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her presence. She had a natural ability to make everyone feel valued and cherished, leaving a permanent mark on their souls.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Herlinda Alcacio, let us celebrate her life rather than mourn her loss. Though she may no longer be physically present with us, the memories she created and the love she bestowed upon us all will live on forever.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Herlinda. May your soul find tranquility in your heavenly abode as your spirit continues to shine brightly among us.
