Hortencia Flores

Hortencia Flores, born September 30, 1932 passed from this life on August 24, 2021 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her husband Emilio Flores. She is survived by her children, Sylvia Barroso, Rachel Flores Jacinto (Alberto), Emilio Flores Jr. (Patricia); grandchildren, Fernando Ayala Jr. (Yasandra De La Torre), Anna Maria Vasquez (Ramiro Vasquez), Alicia Barroso (Gabriel Mendez) Victoria Del Fierro (Americo Del Fierro), Alberto Jacinto, Emilio Flores III, and Andres Flores; great-grandchildren Mark Anthony Vasquez (Roxanne Alvarado), Alex Alberto Rosario, Sophia Ayala, Americo Del Fierro Jr., and Olivia Del Fierro; great-great-grandchild Ava Rae Vasquez. Hortencia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a strong, independent, hardworking woman who kept her home in order. It was her house, and her rules, and everything in the home had it's place. She was always prepared in case of an emergency, and never asked for permission to get things taken care of. Hortencia loved to garden, and cherished the times she spent with family. We will miss her dearly.
