Hortencia P. Zapata

Hortensia Pesina Zapata was called home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2019, at the age of 90. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Juanita Pesina; her husband Rodolfo L. Zapata and her siblings Bertha and Louie Pesina. She is survived by her siblings, Tony, Juan and Janie Pesina, son Rodolfo Zapata Jr. and wife Lillian Zapata; grandchildren, Katherine Herrera, Rodolfo Zapata III and Laura Zapata; great grandchildren, Katrina Herrera, Rudy Zapata IV, Victoria Antoinette Herrera, Alexandria Rose Zapata and Phillip Michael Zapata. Hortensia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited 6:30 p.m. at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapel, 3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204.

Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Mission San Jose Church, 701 E. Pyron Ave, San Antonio, TX 78214. Burial at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214, will follow.
