Ivabell R. Mcniel

Ivabell R. McNiel, known by her friends as "Mac" passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 17, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 92.
She was born February 13, 1922 in Antlers, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Henry and Hattie Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alva Alexander McNiel, brothers Hap and LeRoy Robinson, sisters Veral and Dessie, eldest daughter Alva Alexandria (Sandy) Youmans, and granddaughter Chastity Nicole McNiel.
She leaves to cherish five children: Charlotte Frances McNiel of San Antonio, Texas, LeRoy William McNiel (Marsa) of Mobile, Alabama, Rex Allen McNiel (Jodie), George Franklin McNiel (Pam), and Kelly Jo McNiel all from San Antonio, Texas. Seven grandchildren: Chad Edward, Christina Louise, Megan Alexandria, Brandon Michael, Regina Nicole, Jenae Marie, and Robin Sharla. Three great grandchildren: Cielo, Nicholas, and Drake and a host of family and friends.
"Mac" worked for Bud Jones Restaurant on Military Drive in San Antonio, Texas for 39 years. She drove a truck for Mack's Trucking and was an accomplished seamstress, doing upholstery from her at-home shop. She was an avid Spurs fan with Manu being her favorite player. She loved playing Bingo and watching all things outdoors, especially birds and small animals. She had a great sense of humor and wisdom that seemed pure genius.
We will miss her greatly and wish she could have stayed here with us forever. She will always be in our hearts.
