Jacob Daniel Moore, beloved son and brother, taken from us much too early. At 23 he had barely begun to live but also had lived so much. Jacob served in the California Conservation Corps fighting fires and working in nature that he so very loved. Jacob served his country with honor in the Army where he was able to adventure across Europe. He was working with the VA when he passed.
Though Jacob struggled with severe depression he had an incredible sense of humor about life. Jacob was incredibly compassionate and caring about those around him. He would, and often did, give the food off his plate and the clothes off of his back. We are so grateful to have had him in our lives however briefly. He died with the spirit of a warrior trying to improve his life and the lives of those around him.
Jacob loved motorcycles. He experienced great peace from being out in nature. He also found solace in making and listening to music, hanging out with friends, and spending time with family.
Born in La Jolla, California, Jacob is survived by his parents Gavin and Holly (Brooks) Moore, as well as 3 sibling; Crystal (Moore) Burson, Ben Moore, and Keren “Meeko” Moore, and of course BuddyTheDog.
