James "Charlie" Charles Pruett born March 24, 1928 went to have breakfast with Jesus on September 24, 2014 at the age of 86. The feast is grand! Charlie proudly served his country in the US Army/Air Corp. He served in World War II and was the recipient of the World War II Victory Medal and Army Occupation Medal (Japan). After his tour of duty he dedicated himself to sheet metal work and his love for the Lord led him to become a Deacon at his church. Mr. Pruett was preceded in death by his parents, Darrel and Alice Pruett, his wife of 62 years, Marjorie Pruett and his brother, Robert Lee Pruett. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy L. (Debborah) Pruett, and Charles W. Pruett; his daughters, Cindy D. (Jeff) Fowler, Marjorie Charlene Pruett, and Kathy L. Biggs; 29 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
