James Michael Schlechta went thru the gates of heaven on March 21, 2015. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan Schlechta; daughter, Patty Mishler; son, Jimmy Schlechta; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. He will be cremated with a memorial service at Puente and Sons (NE) on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to Optum Hospice - Dream Foundation, 5835 Callaghan Road, STE. 400, San Antonio, TX 78228
