James Udaloff Elder was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Roger and Diane Elder. He passed away on January 30, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. James loved life so much. He was full of fun, laughter pranks, and always tried to smile. He had a good job at Volt that he dearly loved. He said the people and company were always so good to him and he just thrived there. I was so proud of him for doing good- a good job, a little apartment of his own, and good social life. He was taken from us way too soon. He enjoyed computer games, video games and the classic arcade games when he could find them. Movies were also a favorite. He would spend many hours at River City Mall at the AMC. He loved to come and visit his sister and Eddie, and play with the dogs and cats. He really enjoyed the little kitten we just rescued. James was my “little” brother even though he was much bigger than me and that was our running joke for years. Eddie and I showed James around San Antonio and he embraced the city well. Especially the food! He was a member of McCauley Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. We would like to acknowledge the following people: his sister, Tamra Eason and her husband, Edward Martinez; two nieces, Maggie and Arianna Proffitt, Timothy E. Smith, Lisa Harper, Shannon Elder (forever in his heart), and all the aunts, uncles and cousin in Tennessee. James, you were taken from me way too soon but you are now a guardian angel and I love you always “little bro”.
