Janet H. Clarkson

Janet H. Clarkson, Austin, Texas passed from this life into the hands of our Lord God, January 2, 2013 at the age of 78. Janet was born in Grand Haven, Michigan on March 26, 1934. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe, parents Dan and Gladys Presley Hughes, adoptive mother Thelma Haenke Hughes and sister Joan Logue. Janet is survived by sons, Dan, David and wife Teresa, daughter Karen and husband Jeff Green, brother Bill and wife Laurel, brother-in-law, Bill Logue, several nieces and nephews. Janet has eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm at the Puente Sons Funeral Chapel, Tuesday, January 8, 2013. The funeral service will be at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 6907 Kitchener St., San Antonio, Texas, 78240, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm. with graveside services at 2:45 pm in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
