Janice Dearmond Harwood

Janice DeArmond Harwood passed away on March 6, 2015 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, and sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years: Gene Harwood Sr., sons: Gene Douglas Harwood, Jr, Gardner David Harwood, Monte Cook, Gary Dennis Harwood; daughters: Cathy Elley, Carol Tucker, Cindy Scaglione, Cherie Simpson, and Carrie Mena. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Janice was very active with many friends from the Alamo Heights Class of 1956 which were considered family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels. A chapel service will begin on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, 1:30 PM at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
