Jeffrey Enloe Kemp, 70, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2022. He was the only child of Urbane and Alyne Kemp of Palm Springs, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his three children, Joshua Kemp and wife Cari of Joshua, TX; Sarah Kemp Garcia of San Antonio, TX; Amy Corbitt and husband Mark of Nashville, TN; and two grandsons.
As a young man, Jeff accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He travelled overseas as a German linguist in the United States Army specializing in electronic warfare/signal intelligence voice interception as well as an intelligence analyst. He was honorably discharged in 1985 after eight years of service to his country.
Jeff loved his family and spent a large amount of time telling dad jokes and embarrassing his children at every opportunity. He instilled in his children a love for God, books, movies and music. In recent years, he enjoyed playing and creating memories with his grandsons. Jeff had a big heart and was a source of comedic wisdom for anyone he spoke with.
His family will hold a small gathering in his memory on Wednesday. For information, please contact his children. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to WorldVision.org.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”-Romans 8:38-39
