Jerry R. Cobb

Jerry Cobb Jr. went to be with the Lord on May 24th, 2015. Born on May 11, 1963 in San Antonio TX, Jerry led a happy, active life and will be missed greatly by his family and many friends. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Mo, son Andrew, and brother Mike. An alumnus of MacArthur High School and The University of Texas, he became a scholar of Italian history and an avid world traveler, with special affection for Europe and the Caribbean. Having most recently visited Italy, Turkey, Greece, and Malta, Jerry was a man of broad horizons. Starting as a busboy at Los Patios, Jerry achieved a successful career in the food service as an Olive Garden manager and later, a legendary salesman at US Foods. He was a lover of books, fishing, cooking, and his friends will attest he was an impressive karaoke singer. Jerry has gone to Heaven to be with his parents, Claire and Jerry Cobb Sr., and sister Caren “Cobb” Vickers. He will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious smile, and bright outlook on life.
