Jesse Jett Garza III, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 12, 2020, after a long and difficult battle with cancer at just 60 years of age. Jesse was born to Jesse R. Garza, Jr. and M. Upon graduation in 1977, he attended Texas A&I in Kingsville on an academic scholarship to study Electrical Engineering. Jesse continued to play golf throughout his life and spent many hours volunteering his time at the First Tee of Greater San Antonio and working with the youth. Jesse took great pride in his work and always excelled at any task given to him and his coworkers had the highest regard for him. While attending Windsor Park Assembly of God (now Camelot Christian Center), Jesse met his wife, Susan M. Herrera, and they were married on March 30, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Jesse is preceded in death by his father and mother and is survived by his beloved wife, Susan M. Garza; his brother Albert Garza and his wife Sylvia of Fort Worth; and his sister Sylvia Dorgan and her husband Dan of San Antonio. Jesse will be forever lovingly remembered by his nephews and niece: Richard M. Garza of Fort Worth, and Danielle, Jett and Dylan Dorgan of San Antonio. Jesse will be forever remembered by his family and close friends.
