Jesusita Palafos, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May , 2024 in her hometown of San Antonio. Born on August 1, 1957, Jesusita brought light and love into the lives all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jesusita had a passion for the color green and found joy in collecting figurines and watching scary movies. However, above all else, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored dearly.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family members: her devoted husband Demetrio Garcia; daughters Melissa and Samantha Palafos; son Gabriel Palafos; brother David Garcia; sister Hope Rivera; sister Lucy Garcia; as well as her precious grandchildren Gabriel Jr., Randy Olveda Ferdin Jr., Abrie Palafos, Adalie Olveda Ferdin, Jayla Sanchez, Juan Sanchez Jr., Melanie Olveda Ferdin, Gavin Palafos, and Massiah Olveda Ferdin.
Jesusita was preceded in death by her parents Pablo P. and Francisca Garica; sister Carmen Garcia Fuentes; brothers Carlos Garcia, Emmanuel Garcia.
A visitation and prayer service will be held to honor Jesusita's life on May 30, 2024 at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South in San Antonio from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The memories shared during this time will symbolize the impact Jesusita had on those around her.
