Jodenise Rosa, 58, made heaven her home on Tuesday November 23, 2021. She passed away peacefully in her home in Selma Texas surrounded by family.
Jodenise is preceded in death by her father Ramiro Rosa, grandmother Julia Rosa, aunt Eloisa Garcia and brothers Ricardo Escalante and Rene Garcia. She is survived by siblings Lorri Rosa, Sara Galindo, Rolando (Yolanda) Garcia, Roberto Garcia, Sandra (Domingo) Zepeda, Corina Escalante, and nephew Kyle Saldana. Along with a host of extended family and friends.
Jodenise was born in San Juan Texas on August 4th, 1963. She lived in the Rio Grande valley most of her life before moving to Austin Texas. Jodenise lived an adventurous life, traveled and was not afraid to take risks. She lived her life to the fullest and was sure to bring a smile to anyone in her presence. Jodenise had a love for red cardinals, sunflowers, and Disney. She had a passion for Jesus and attended the Greater Randolph Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed reading books by Joyce Myer and Doug Batchelor. Jodenise was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and made Selma her home which would be her final resting place. Despite her diagnosis, she never wavered in her faith and instead found peace in her faith – “My God turns my darkness into Light” Psalms 18:28.
Jodenise was a true blessing and will be missed by all of her friends and family.
