Joe Angel Rodriguez

Joe A. Rodriguez, WWII veteran, Father and Grandfather went home to be with our Lord, September 11, 2015. He was born March 19, 1922 to Narcisso Rodriguez and Etalislada Delgado and was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, Texas. A dedicated public servant, after his time with the US Army, he continued his service at Kelly AFB until he retired in 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers Raymond and Willie Rodriguez, wife Josefina and son Robert Rodriguez. Joe is survived by his children Gloria Rodriguez, Alice Gonzalez, Gilbert Rodriguez and Susan Ramirez, sister Janie Chavez, grandchildren Daniel L. Gonzalez (Yvette), Rene Gonzalez, Kristy Gonzalez, Brandon Ross Ramirez (Lauren) and great-grandchildren Robert Garcia, Gabrielle Gonzalez and Zayla Fernandez and a devoted circle of extended family and friends. Service times will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Iglesia Bautista Sur San Antonio, 2026 W. Pyron from 6pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Church services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11 am at the church and interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1pm. Services under the direction of Puente and Sons NE
