Joel Calderon

Joel Calderon, age 40, of Del Rio, TX died on Sept. 23rd in San Antonio TX, peacefully with his family at his side. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, great sense of humor and wearing his heart on his sleeve. Joel is survived by his children, Joel Calderon, Jr., Jacob Calderon, Angel Castellanos and Joel Calderon; parents, Julio G. and Ramona C. Calderon; siblings, Xavier Vasquez, Blanca Zapata, Corina Castellanos and husband Jesse, twin brother Julio Jr. Calderon and wife Tracy and nieces and nephews. Joel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Timoteo and Trinidad H. Castillo. The Calderon family would like to thank Templo Betania Asambleas de Dios, Pastor Salahiel and Prieto family for organizing a Memorial Service followed by a luncheon in Joels honor on Saturday, Sept. 27th. Thank you Templo Betania for being the light in Joels life and Prieto family for your true friendship.
