Joel David Orrison

Joel David (Jody) Orrison was granted his angel wings on Sunday, August 22, 2010 when he went to be with the Lord. Jody was born on Mothers Day, May 10, 1965 in Stephenville (Ernest Harmon Air Force Base), Newfoundland, Canada and weighed only 3 pounds, 3 ounces; a very small baby for that time. He was a fighter from birth; bringing a ray of sunshine to everyone he would meet and was so very much loved by all. Jody was a longtime resident of the San Antonio State School.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert S. Orrison Sr. and Jean Lee Orrison. He is survived by his loving siblings, brother Robert S. Orrison Jr. and wife Linda, sisters Deborah A. Bodin, Rebecca J. Plata and husband Mark, and Robyn M. Neel and husband Mike. Survivors also include nieces and nephews Robert S. Orrison III, Christina Orrison, Eric Plata, Nicole Plata, Brian Gloeckler, Travis Gloeckler, Matthew Neel, Hayley Neel and uncle and aunts Jean Nichols, Verla Darginis, Joanne Sargent, Bonnie Stroud and Jerry Orrison. Jody is also survived by a special circle of friends and loved ones from the San Antonio State School, whom Jodys family would like to thank and acknowledge for the loving care given to him over the years.

Cemetery:
Jody will be laid to final and eternal rest at the foot of his mother at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010, 9:00 A.M. at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapel with a Chapel Service to begin at 10:00 A.M.
