John E. Wilson Sr.

John E. Wilson Sr., age 55 passed away January 7th, 2010 in Mc Queeney, TX. He was born on October 4th, 1954 in Refugio, Refugio County, Texas to Bill G. Wilson and Pearl Virginia Hanson Wilson.

John grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas where he enjoyed surfing at Padre Island. He loved getting the family together for boating at Lake Mc Queeney.

John was a Rolex watchmaker. He met and told stories of meeting famous people by working on their Rolex’s. He was known as a hero during the Mc Queeney floods. He was fearless. He will be missed by all family and friends who loved him.

John was preceded in death by his father Bill G. Wilson. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Bronk; and son John E. Wilson Jr. (L. J.); mother Pearl Virginia Lewis; sister, Debra W. Doty (George); brother, Bill M. Wilson Sr.; Nephews, Bill M. Wilson Jr., , and George Nicholas Doty II; Nieces, Amber Wilson, Tara Doty; uncles Lyman Hanson Jr., and Kenneth Smith and many Hanson/Wilson cousins.
