John 'Jack' Trostle

John (Jack) Trostle, 79, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2011. Jack was born in Harrisburg, PA on September 24, 1931 to Della and John Trostle. Jack, a proud Navy veteran, served our country during the Korean War. He worked for Honeywell in New York City until he moved to San Antonio in 1981 to work for Datapoint Corporation as Vice President of Field Operations. He also worked at Citibank until retirement. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Mary Jane and Nell, his first wife, Wilma and daughter, Linda. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Trostle, daughters Amy Trostle, Cynthia Lopez and her husband Daniel, step daughters Brenda Mataya and Theresa Mataya. Grandpa Jack will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Jenna, Christopher, Daniel, John, Troy, Luke, Samantha, Cody and great grandson Dylan. Jack is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jacks life will be celebrated during a Funeral Mass at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach Rd. on Friday June 17, 2011 at 10 AM.
