John Marr WatsonMay 14, 1939 - December 20, 2016 John Marr Watson III joined the Lord December 20, 2016 at 77 years old. John was born in Providence R.I., May 14, 1939. John was preceded in death by his father John Marr Watson II, mother Helen Pinney and Brother Robert Hudson Watson. He graduated from Providence High School and joined the United States Army and was stationed in Korea right after high school. After he left the Army he worked as a journeyman electrician, professional musician, taught drum lessons part time and owned and operated Ambush Pest Control. He attended Sunset School of Preaching in 1976-1977.   John is survived by his beloved wife Frankie Sharon Watson. His sister Ginny DiSomone. Children Mauren Sherman, Peggy Palombo, John Watson, Edward Watson, Jamie Pinkney, April Ashbaugh & Johnathan Slate Watson. Father in law to Earl Sherman, Micheal Palombo, Lori Watson, Curtis Pinkney & David Ashbaugh. Grandfather to Earl, Christina, Michael, Matthew, Edward, Joshua Turner, Sarah Turner, Amber Coon & Ashley Holquin. Grandfather in law to Nikki Magnone, Davide Coon, & Eddie Holquin. Great grandfather to Serenity, Noah, Liberty & Joshua Turner- Pinkney, Derek & Dylan Coon, & Miklo, Eddie Jr. & Jasmine Holquin.  He served the Lord faithfully and made it priority with the family. John was loved by many and will be deeply missed.  Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapel 14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233 on Wednesday December 28th from 5-8pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home the following morning Thursday December 29th visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until memorial service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
