John R. Miller

John R. Miller, born March 12, 1942 in Uvalde, Texas went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2018. John lived a full life, retiring from the Railroad after 23 years of loyal service. He will be remembered as a hard-working man who was always willing to lend a hand. Those who knew him well will describe him as an avid story teller, and father figure to many in need of one. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Tammy Miller; his son, Duane; his daughter, Ginger; her husband, Justin; his daughter, Tabetha; his grandchildren, Skylar, Destiny, Amber, Amanda, Austin, Paige, and Wyatt; as well as numerous beloved extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Miller and Louise Miller; his sister Betty; and her husband Jim. He will forever live on in the hearts and memories of all of those who loved him.
