John Robert Barr Sr.

John Robert Barr Sr., 83, of Schertz, Tx, returned home to our Heavenly Father, Friday February 4, 2022, at home with his family by his side.
He was born in Des Moines, Iowa, November 28, 1938. He served his Country, Church, and Family diligently. John was in the United States Air Force, National Guard, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Surviving are his wife Mrs. LaWanda Mae Barr; daughter Connie Ruth Sebesta (husband Bobby); son John Robert Barr Jr. (wife Jerri); daughter Doris Faye Miller; daughter Rebecca Lynn Cardwell (husband Richard); 13 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great, Great Grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by daughter Bonnie Lou Falls, daughter in law Emma Dean Barr, and a grandson.

Elder Nelson so beautifully said:
We can’t fully appreciate joyful reunions later without tearful separations now. The only way to take sorrow out of death is to take love out of life. …Our limited perspective would be enlarged if we could witness the reunion on the other side of the veil, when doors of death open to those returning home. Such was the vision of the psalmist who wrote, ‘Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints’ (Psalms 116:15).
