Jon Christopher Maggio

Jon Christopher Maggio, born July 6th, 1990.
A loving husband, incredible doggy dad, beloved brother and son. His life was unexpectedly taken from us, far too soon on March 29th, 2021 at the age of 30.
Jon is survived by his wife, Araceli Maggio, his mother, Georgann Patterson-Maggio, his sisters, Cynthia Lynn Maggio and Erica Renee Maggio, his brother, Rian Beau Maggio, and his adored pups, Annabelle, Isabella & Clark.

If there was one thing everyone can agree on, it was that Jon had a contagious smile that lit up a room. He always made it a point to make everyone around him feel comfortable & welcomed, as that is all he ever wanted to feel himself. Jon was a very selfless man, always wanting and willing to help others, it is what made his heart happy. Another thing that gave Jon immense joy was traveling and discovering new places. He was an avid planner and would have a detailed day by day itinerary for any trip he took. He made sure to show his wife anything and everything a city had to offer if they visited there, and that certainly always included the best restaurants. Jon loved all things food & was an incredible chef and baker. He had dreams to open a small coffee shop and bakery one day. He loved the feeling of happiness he got from watching others enjoy his cooking. Jon was a true outdoor enthusiast! Whether it was hiking, kayaking, fishing, working out, playing Pokémon go in the park, or just being in the water, he was always in his element when he was being active outdoors.
Jon had a huge heart and genuinely got pleasure from doting on his wife and dogs. He made it a point daily to put a smile on his wife’s face and for her to know he wanted nothing more than to take care of her. Jon had his struggles, but always put on a strong persona to face the world. He never wanted anyone to feel sorry for him or know that he was hurting. He just wanted everyone to be happy! So even through our incredibly heavy hearts, let us all put on a smile and let Jon know that we are happy he is in eternal peace.
