Jose Angel “Chico” Gutierrez

Jose Angel Chico Gutierrez was born on September 24, 1951 in Cleveland. Ms went to be with our Lord on Sunday April 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his mother Oralia R. Gutierrez and is survived by his wife Nancy Gutierrez; father Angel Gutierrez; daughter Christina Maria (Jesse) Rios; so n Jose Angel Gutierrez; one grandson; and three granddaughters; siblings; M Frances (Johnny) Gonzales from Dayton, Oh, Rudy (Sulema) Gutierrez, Thelma Mize, Richard (Joni) Gutierrez, Sandra (Juan) Montoya and Brenda Gutierrez; seven nephews and five nieces; eight great-nephews and six great-nieces; and a large extended family of uncles, aunts and cousins. Chico as he was mostly known, grew up in Chicago, IL. But moved to San Antonio, Tx. In the eighties and lived here till passing. While in San Antonio, he attended Latin American Bible Institute and became strongly involved with Victory Outreach ministries. His church family, his friends and his family will forever miss his sense of humor, his friendship and his love. A memorial service was held in his honor on Wednesday April 15, 2009 at 6:00pm at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels.
