Jose M. Molinar, passed from this life on July 9, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1930, in Mexico. Throughout his life, Jose touched the lives of many through his remarkable career and outstanding accomplishments. He is preceded in death by his wife Agustina Molinar; brother Mariano Molinar; son Juan Ramirez; and grandson Antonio Molinar. Jose is survived by his children, Luis Molinar (Otilia), and Jose Molinar (Alicia); grandchildren, Rocio Molinar, and Marissa Molinar.
Jose led a fulfilling professional life that spanned over two decades. He worked tirelessly as an Investigator for the E.E.O.C., dedicating himself to upholding fairness and justice in the workplace. His commitment to his work made a profound impact on numerous individuals who sought his guidance during challenging times.
At the age of 15, Jose immigrated from Mexico and and went on to follow his passion for learning and ultimately earned his undergraduate and Master's Degree form the University of Texas El Paso. Jose taught at the University of Oklahoma while pursuing his P.H.D. His dedication to education inspired countless students who were fortunate enough to learn from him.
Serving his country was one of Jose's proudest achievements. He selflessly devoted twenty years of his life serving in both the United States Navy and Army. Through his military service, he displayed unwavering loyalty towards protecting the values he held dear.
Outside of work and service to his country, Jose enjoyed indulging in Cooking. Cooking was not just a hobby for him but a form of expression that brought joy to those around him. Although Jose loved to cook, he always managed to avoid cleaning up afterwards.
The memory of Jose will be commemorated through a series of events. The visitation will be held on July 18, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-South, in San Antonio, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m., allowing loved ones to gather and honor Jose's life.
A Mass in celebration of Jose's life will take place on July 19, 2023, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas. The Mass will commence at 9:30 a.m., offering an opportunity for family and friends to come together and find solace in their shared memories.
Following the Mass, Jose will be laid to rest with military honors at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. The interment ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m., providing a final opportunity to say farewell to this remarkable man who touched so many lives.
In his passing, Jose leaves behind cherished memories that will forever warm the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His kindness, dedication, unwavering spirit and devotion to his faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
