Jose D. Noriega

September 20, 1936 — November 19, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Jose D. Noriega, who peacefully left this world on November 19, 2024, at the age of 88, surrounded by his devoted family.

Jose was a deeply caring family man whose world revolved around his loved ones. Whether fishing, driving, traveling, cruising, or gathering with family, he lived a life full of joy, laughter and connection. A proud and hardworking man, Jose spent his career in construction, a field where his skill and dedication built not just structures but memories. Many family projects still stand as a testament to his talent and the love he poured into every task.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Leticia Noriega, who was his rock and constant companion, always ready with a warm home-cooked meal that he loved. Together, they built a beautiful family, including their children Imelda Martinez (Robert), Jose Noriega Jr. (Cynthia), and Lizette Noriega (Alfonso). Jose was a cherished grandfather to Marielena (Diego), Olivia, Robert Nicholas, Mariela, Nickolas, Geraldine, Gael, Ashley (Robert), Julianna, and Mia, who will forever remember his loving presence and his unmatched sense of humor.

Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion and Michaela Noriega, and his brother, Nicholas Noriega. He is survived by 7 brothers, 4 sisters, and countless nieces and nephews, all of whom will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

We invite all who knew and loved Jose to join us in celebrating the remarkable life of a man who will be profoundly missed.
