Joseph Ervin Veillon

Ret. U.S. Army 1Sgt Joseph Ervin Veillon born September 22, 1922 in Eunice, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2015 at the age of 93. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marguerite Adams Veillon; his son Mark Veillon; and brothers, Ted and Winford Joseph Veillon. Joseph is survived by his sons, Joseph and Michael Veillon; his daughters, Elizabeth Matarazzo and Dee Dee Baen; his brother, Ray Veillon; 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Joseph retired from the US Army after 20 years of service as a First Sergeant. He was one of the first Super Sergeants in the US Army when the rank was formed.
