Joshua John Hansen

Joshua John Hansen was born September 23, 1979 to Dan and Laura Hansen in Waterloo, Iowa and went home to be with the lord on September 11, 2020 after a brief battle with cancer. Josh graduated high school from Dunkerton High school in Dunkerton Iowa in 1998 and immediately joined the Marine Corp. He proudly served his country for 2 years before being honorably discharged in 2000. He eventually moved to Texas and married his soulmate, Sarah Luce, on November 6, 2010 and was blessed with two amazing sons, Morgan Denman Hansen (8) and Cameron Martin Hansen (4).
Joshua was proceeded in death by his younger brother, Jeremy R Hansen, his grandparents, Roger and Sara-Faye Morgan and Robert and Maxine Hansen. Survivors include his wife, their 2 children, his parents, his brother Jason Hansen (Amber), nieces Ryleigh Hansen, Masie Gunesch, nephew Caleb Hansen and numerous devoted friends and family.
Joshua was a loving father, loyal friend, devoted husband and son. His time on earth was too short, but he touched so many lives with his kindness and integrity. His smile and laughter could light up a room. To know him was to love him and he will be dearly missed by many.
