Juan Ruperto Acuna, a cherished member of his family and community, was born on June 24, 1956, and departed from this world on April 20, 2025. He will be remembered not only for his dedication to his loved ones but also for his service to his country as a proud member of the United States Army.
Throughout his life, Juan embraced various interests that brought joy and fulfillment. He had a deep passion for breeding dogs, roosters, and messenger pigeons, activities that reflected his nurturing spirit and love for animals. These hobbies also served as a testament to his creativity and commitment, allowing him to connect with others who shared similar interests.
Juan is survived by his beloved daughter, Lydia Acuna, and son, Juan Acuna, Jr. He shared a special bond with his significant other, Gerry Neill, who was by his side through many chapters of life. Juan's memory will live on through his grandchildren, Juan Acuna III and Dillon Schori, who were sources of pride and joy in his life. He is also survived by his brother, Felix Acuna, with whom he shared countless memories and experiences.
Juan is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Acuna, and his sister, Juanita A. Lopez, both of whom played significant roles in shaping the man he became. Their shared love and warmth continue to resonate in the hearts of his family.
As we remember Juan Ruperto Acuna, we hold onto the legacy of his kindness, the devotion he showed to his family and community, and the impact he made throughout his life. He will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
