Juan is survived by his sons, Francisco Javier Montes, Juan Montes Jr. (Cristela), and Victor Montes (Desiree); daughters, Esmarelda "Rosie" Montes, Isabel Montes (Fernando), and Ruth Zepeda (Ricardo): Brother Victor Raul Montes (Casandra); sisters, Marta Luisa Flores, and Dora Montes; 29 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and girlfriend Consuelo Basillo.
