Juana Silerio of San Antonio, Texas was received into the arms of the Lord on December 1, 2020, at the age of 75. She was born on June 10, 1945, to Nicolas Fernandez and Aurora Garcia in Monterrey, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her father, Nicolas Fernandez; her mother, Aurora Garcia; and her sisters, Guadalupe Martinez and Delores DeLeon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jesus Severiana Silerio Canales; her sons, Jesus (Angel) Silerio Jr. and Jose (Melissa) Silerio; her daughters, Norma (Gerardo) Hernandez, Nelly Silerio, and Diana (Wesley) Silerio; her sisters, Fela Leal, and Ramona; her grandchildren, Yajaira, Jazmine, Brittany, Jesse Taylor, Brianna, Jose, Damarco, Emily, Mikaela, Bianca, Caiden, Anna, and Alyssa; her great-grandchildren, Davion, Leilani, and Naomi.
Juana was a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend. She was always willing to lend a helping hand with anything and everything. She was a great cook and her tasty food filled the hearts and stomachs of many. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
