Juanita Faye Mocyzgemba

Juanita Faye Mocyzgemba, born on February 27 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, passed on from this life on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in Floresville, Texas. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose legacy is woven into the lives she touched throughout her remarkable 81 years.

A devoted mother, Juanita leaves behind her loving children: Pamela Bauer, Eddie Bauer (Melinda), Claude Bauer, Anna Bauer, Erna Bishop (Troy), Sue Barber (David), and John Bauer. Her spirited approach to life is reflected in the hearts of her grandchildren, who carry forward her vibrant spirit: Brandon, Johnathan, Lindsey, Christian, Erin, Brooke, Ethan, Tina, Cody, Hannah, Jason, Daniel, Ashlyn, Dalton, Savannah, Sierra, Latoya, and Mikey. Her light and joy live on in the hearts and minds of her many great-grandchildren.

Juanita found joy in the small pleasures of life, whether it was her meticulous collection of knick-knacks that adorned her home or her talent for cooking, where she delighted family and friends alike with her many culinary creations, especially her "Surprise Burgers". Her warmth and generosity ensured that gatherings were filled with love and laughter.

She is also survived by her siblings, Curtis and Kathy Martin, who together with her family and friends will hold dear the memories they created with Juanita. A special wave of gratitude goes out to Michelle McDonald, Juanita's Special Angel.

Juanita is reunited in spirit with her parents, John and Annie Martin, as well as her son, Gene Bauer Jr., and granddaughter, Hayley Archibeque. Their memories remain vivid as she continues to inspire those who loved her.
