Karon Ann Pillivant, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on August 17 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on May 25, 1949, in Armanda, Michigan. Her warmth and kindness have left an indelible mark on the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know.Karon was a woman of many interests, with a love for crocheting, food canning, cooking for everyone, sharing her recipes with everyone to feed an army, Lionel trains and playing the Rummi game, which reflected her nurturing spirit and zest for life. Those who spent time in her presence could not help but feel the love she exuded. She loved everyone like her own, earning the affectionate title of "mom" from family friends, a testament to her generous heart and parental care.
One of Karon's favorite places was Disney World, a location that held a special place in her heart and served as a backdrop for many joyful memories with her family. She cherished these moments, instilling a sense of joy and wonder that she passed down through generations.
Karon is survived by her loving children, Richard (Nicole) Mosher, Leeann (Kenneth) Ealy, and Michael Pillivant. She is also survived by her brothers, Barry Mosher, Warren (Debbie) Mosher, and Bruce (Barbara) Mosher, as well as her sisters, Sharon (Fred) Abrams, Jo Adair, Diana Collins, Deborah (Jerry) Kulman, and Tammy (Cliff) Stier. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Bobbie (Eric) Reese, Thomas Golembiewski, Savannah Pillivant, Mikalia Ealy, and Elena Vega, along with her great-grandchildren, Faith Natzel, Hope Patterson, Robbie Patterson, Kara Reese, Leah Reese, Lauren Reese, Jackson Reese and Audrina Moore. As well as her loving pets. Karon was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Roger Pillivant, who shared in her dreams and adventures. Their love story remains a cherished memory for all who knew them.
